Elliot Malin, JD, MPA

Founder & President

Elliot Malin has represented a wide array of clients ranging from trade associations, nonprofits, and business. Elliot was with various firms and ultimately landing up as the senior in-state policy person for a multistate multi-million-dollar nonprofit focused on preserving the rights of Nevadans through criminal justice reforms and stimulating economic productivity. He served as the senior Northern Nevada staffer for former U.S. Senator Dean Heller’s campaign in 2018, going on to form his own company, EM, Inc., eventually joining as Partner at Capitol Partners of Nevada, and finally here as Founder and President at Alpine Strategies.

Elliot prides himself on his ability to work with anyone at any level to get the best possible outcome for all parties involved. Having written and passed legislation at varying levels of government, he brings a unique perspective on how to craft a message and plan of action to attack every situation – large or small.

He earned his B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs as well as his Master of Public Administration from the University of Nevada, an Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from the University of Iowa and his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University. Elliot enjoys learning more and dedicating his time to understanding everything there is to know about each client to best represent them.

In his spare time, he volunteers for various non-profits, where he serves in executive capacities on their boards. Elliot also serves as the Chair of the Nevada Governor's Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust and as Chair of the Subcommittee on Holocaust and Genocide Education in the Nevada Department of Education.

Elliot and his wife enjoy traveling the world, exploring the Reno-Tahoe community, and playing with their dogs.
